“So to my family on here. Yesterday I got the best birthday present I could have wished for,” she shared in a heartfelt post on her Instagram Story.
The Loose Women star, who has three sons – Zachary, Leighton and Rex – first announced she was pregnant with her fourth child in June, which means her pregnancy journey started around March.
People generally share their pregnancy news at around the 12-week mark.
Stacey revealed she and fiancé Joe Swash had been trying “for a long time” following a number of miscarriages.
Getting emotional during her reveal, she explained: “We are growing another pickle. We’ve never felt so grateful… I have no words.
“We didn’t think we would get the chance. We love you all to the moon and back. Lots of love From Me, Joe, Harry, Zach, Leighton, Rex, and our little pickle.”
After keeping her fans in the loop of her incredible life update, Stacey then found out she was having a daughter – which was a very special moment for the star, as she is a proud mum to three boys.
She shared a picture of herself and Joe cradling her bump while they were surrounded by pink balloons.
“I can not believe I’m writing this… We are growing a little baby girl,” Stacey gushed.
“To our darling boys, you are the best big brothers anyone could wish for and your little sister is the luckiest girl in the world to have you all by her side.
“I honestly have no words…
“Mummy Daddy and ALL of your big brothers can not wait to meet you little one…
“We love you so so much already darling girl.”
The new mum also posted a photo of Zachary, Leighton and Rex holding up a sign that says: “What on earth is a sister?
“Baby girl coming soon.”
Stacey had built up to the big reveal by posting footage from her scan on her Instagram Stories.
She showed an emotional looking Joe watching the scan on a monitor in black and white footage.
Wearing his face mask, Joe looked up and the screen as he watched their baby girl move around.
“Oh guys it’s been an emotional day,” she captioned the video alongside crying emojis.
She then showed her two eldest boys cheering as she gave them a teddy bear, which seemed to reveal the baby’s gender to them, before announcing the news.
Stacey said: “I just have to say… to my darling boys… You re the most incredible brothers anyone could wish for.”
She continued: “As your mummy nothing makes me more proud than watching you grow with the love and kindness you have for one another.
“No matter what you’ll always have that and I couldn’t wish for anything else in life.”
“And I just cannot tell you how lucky this baby is to have you,” she continued.
“All of you looking over and protecting your little…”
Throughout her pregnancy, Stacey gave fans an honest overview of how everything was going.
Sharing updates from good to bad, she made sure her followers were kept in the loop.
Just weeks before she gave birth, Stacey’s sister Gemma arranged a beautiful baby shower in the sunshine.
The TV personality admitted that she was “overwhelmed and emotional” after a day in which she stunned in a silky pink dress that showed off her burgeoning baby bump to the full.
Stacey posted a series of photos to Instagram in which she shared the delights of her baby shower, as she looked loved up with Joe on which seems to have been a glorious day.
Captioning the snaps, Stacey wrote: “Feeling so overwhelmed and emotional… What a beautiful day.
“My sister arranged a baby shower for me and our little girl and it was so special.
“I love you Jem Jem to the moon and back. I can’t believe she’s nearly here. So grateful for everything.
“And thank you Sun for shinning today.”
In the meantime, Stacey was busy decorating her daughter’s nursery.
Going all out for the new arrival, she renovated the room in the mansion that she and husband-to-be Joe purchased, with a pink theme and added several lavish touches to ensure the space is fit for the little princess.
Proving that the Loose Women star is hopeful that her daughter will be a girlie girl, she decided to complete the interior with floral flourishes – including creating a stand-out flower wall with faux roses.
Stacey spent hours glueing the artificial blooms to produce the eye-catching decor and finished of the area with a large mirror in the centre.
Preparing for nights up with the newborn, the ITV favourite also dedicated a space for nursing which included a plush pink velvet chair covered with a canopy.
Stacey decided on placing the nappy changing area nearby the window and placed a flower mobile above.
She also swapped the carpet for grey wooden flooring and added a white rug atop, she also added panelling to the walls before coating them in candy floss toned paint.
Alongside the gallery of the finished room, Stacey – who was proud of her DIY work – typed: “Our Baby Girl’s Room – done.”
She then added a sweet message to her tot and shared how she cannot wait to give birth.
Stacey continued: “To my Darling daughter, I’ve loved every single second of making this special place for you. My whole heart, and soul is in this room and I would do it all again if I could.
“I can not wait to bring you home here and show you everything. I can not wait to hold you, cuddle you, sing to you, feed you and put you to bed in here. I’m so proud of everything in here and it’s been the best feeling making it and I’ll miss being covered in pink paint.
“We can not wait to see you little one. To the moon and stars and back again princess, we love you.”
It’s thought Stacey is hoping to have a fifth child, after previously saying her baby girl would be her last.
The star explained that being a family of seven – with Joe’s son Harry – was enough for her, but she’s said to have had a change of heart and to be keen to have one more daughter.
“Stacey’s thrilled to be finally having a girl, but now she can’t help thinking about having two daughters,” a source told heat.
“She’s so close to Jemma and couldn’t imagine what her childhood would have been like without their relationship.”
Stacey previously revealed to fans that she didn’t want her pregnancy to end because it will be her last one.
She said in an Instagram story: “I’m in bed and it’s only half 9, I can’t just stay up anymore, I was laying here thinking, first thing I was thinking if I was still pregnant, I really thought I would have had it by now. I think this is the first time I’ve been pregnant and not wished the end away cos I know I won’t do it again so I’m just kind of like clinging onto every second.
“But I was also thinking I’ve also got to get her here now – I’ve got to push her out. I’ve been in denial about it for the last nine months I think. Hopefully, I’m just hoping it’s number four so I’ll just sneeze her out or a quick mazel tov – it’s a girl.
“But I know it’s going to be horrendous. I know it’s not bad for everyone but I don’t love labour if I’m honest – I think it really hurts.”
It appears she gave birth to her daughter on Monday – her birthday.
Congratulations on your new arrival, Stacey and Joe!
