Stacey Solomon has shared a couple more adorable pics of her newborn baby daughter.
The 32-year-old Loose Women panelist finally revealed the name of their baby girl, more than a week after she was born on Stacey’s birthday, with her and Joe deciding to call their daughter Rose Opal, Esmè Solomon-Swash.
Before announcing the name, Stacey had shared a number of videos on her Instagram
Story in which her sons Zachary, Leighton and Rex are seen sharing their love for their baby sister.
She wrote a series of captions for the sweet vids, and she told her followers about the delight she has felt during the first week of baby Rose’s life.
Stacey wrote: “It’s been the best week ever. I could 100% spend my life in this moment. I can’t believe it’s been over a week already.
“Boys watching you all is my biggest privilege and I could just burst every minute of every day seeing who you’re becoming…”
Turning her attentions to Rose, Stacey wrote: “Thank you darling girl for bringing us all of this magic. Getting to know you and getting to love you is the best thing we could wish for…”
She then added an apology for taking her time in choosing a name, writing: “Sorry it took a while princess, it was so hard. We how you grow up and love it as much as we already love you.”
Stacey shared a couple of gorgeous photos of her daughter dressed in a pink vest and lying with her eyes closed next to a pink rose.
She used the post to announce the name, writing in the caption: “Rose Opal, Esmè Solomon-Swash. Our beautiful flower – Our precious jewel – who is ever loved.
“It’s been the most magical week. We love you to the moon and back our little Rose.
“We feel so so lucky to have you here… Thank you all for your loveliness, your kindness and just being there at 3am for a chat it’s been the best. Love you all”
A host of celebrities commented on the pic as they shared their love for the choice of name.
TV presenter Gaby Roslin wrote: “Your beautiful Rose what a perfect name.”
Virgin Radio DJ and former Big Brother star Kate Lawler wrote: “Oh wow. Such a gorgeous name.”
One of Stacey’s best friends, Mrs Hinch, was also delighted with the choice, commenting: “Darling Rose. I love you both so much stace.”
