Real Housewives star Rachel Lugo left with ‘bloodied nose’ during intense boxing match

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Rachel Lugo was left with a bloody nose after competing against her co-star Leanne Brown.

The reality stars partook in a celebrity boxing match in front of 20,000 spectators at Manchester’s AO Arena on Saturday.

Rachel and Leanne were the only female competitors at the event and things got intense during the first round.

Leanne got in a few powerful punches and left Rachel with a nosebleed after hitting her in the face.

The blood gushing down her face didn’t stop her from bringing her all as she continued to fight.

Despite the determination from Rachel’s end, Leanne ended up being victorious.

Speaking to Daily Star, the star explained: “I’m really looking forward to it. I think we’re both pretty much the same height and we’re the same build.

“I’m not frightened of being in the ring, I’m not frightened of someone coming at me and getting hit so I think that stands me in good stead.

“We’ve just said, ‘It’s six minutes. We’re going to have a boxing match.’ We both know we’re not going in there to take out any old feud because we haven’t got that going on.”

Leanne also discussed their match, saying that it isn’t ideal having to fight someone you know.

Other participants at the star-studded boxing event included Tom Zanetti and Luke Mabbott, Dan Osborne and Jamie Jewitt, and Mark Berry and Clayton Blackmore.
