Lindsay Lohan

is set to become the latest famous face to have their very own podcast on the airwaves.

In addition to actress, singer, beach-club owner and NFT expert, Lindsay will soon be able to also add ‘Podcast host’ to her extensive resume, as she prepares to launch a currently untitled show.

It has been confirmed that the actress will front an audio-series that will see the 35-year-old share her “authentic voice” and give listeners “a chance to experience a never-before-seen side” of the star.

The Parent Trap star, who is also due to make her acting comeback in a new Netflix rom-com, has signed up to host the podcast with Red Arrow Studios’ Studio71, with plans to launch later this year or in early 2022.

Lindsay Lohan said she was “excited” as the news of her new podcast was confirmed

The audio series will see the star tap into her “unparalleled experiences” as an actress and entrepreneur

“I’m excited to partner with Studio71 in the development and production of my podcast,” Lindsay said of the news via Deadline.

“I’m looking forward to connecting with more of my fans and having intimate conversations with friends and thought leaders across all industries.”

Studio71 securing the star for the show was down to the efforts of Moorea Smith and Senior Director of Talent Relations Matt Barker.

The studio, who will develop and distribute Lindsay’s series, is already home to popular podcasts such as The Bald and the Beautiful with Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamo and Bob Saget’s Here For You.

The actress seemed to tease her new project on social media earlier this year

Speaking about their A List signing, Moorea gave a shout out to Lindsay’s impressive experiences as “an entertainer and entrepreneur”.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lindsay to Studio71’s podcast network and can’t wait for her to take listeners behind the scenes of her life and work,” the Senior Talent Relations Manager added.

“With her unparalleled experiences as an entertainer and entrepreneur, we are so excited for her to take the mic and share her thoughts and opinions with the world.”

Show bosses are hopeful that the star’s life experience will make her the perfect podcast host

Lindsay is yet to share the news on social media, but the star has previously hinted on Instagram regarding her new venture.

Earlier this year, the former child actor seemingly teased her new audio project, as she shared a snap of herself in the desert with stagehands and a boom mic visible in the shot.

She captioned the cryptic photo: “The beginning of something…”

Lindsay has been enjoying a career resurrection of late – with the Freaky Friday actress also set to star as the lead in an upcoming Netflix movie.

Despite being one of Hollywood’s biggest stars in her younger years, the 35-year-old actress has seen herself on hiatus from the acting industry over recent years.

Lindsay’s last notable role was in 2018, starring in Sky’s British comedy Sick Note, alongside Harry Potter star Rupert Grint.

The following year, the star could also be spotted on the small screen in her MTV reality TV show, Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club.
