has given fans a sneak peak of her very first acting gig set to be released later this year.

The Little Mix singer will make her debut appearance on the big screen in festive film, Boxing Day – a romantic comedy due to premiere in December.

New mum Leigh-Anne shared a first glimpse of the Christmas themed feature length film on social media on Wednesday.

In a case of life imitating art, the award-winning singer takes on the role of an international pop star for her very first acting credit.

The preview shared to the 30-year-old’s Instagram account reveals that Boxing Day see’s the star joined by an all-black cast including Aja Naomi King and Aml Ameen for the seasonal flick.

In the first trailer for the upcoming films, viewers watch as British author Melvin, played by Aml, pops the question to his American girlfriend, Aja’s character Lisa.

The romantic proposal is slightly ruined when she goes on to vomit on the carpet.

Later in the movie, the newly engaged couple head over to London, where Leigh-Anne makes her first appearance as pop star Georgia.

It’s later revealed that she and Melvin once enjoyed a romantic relationship, with Lisa furious to discover that fact, declaring: “We’ve had sex to her music.”

In true rom-com style, a love triangle appears to form, with Georgia seen asking her “‘Do you remember what you said the first time you asked me out?” which causes Lisa to run away in tears.

Clearly excited ahead of her fans getting to watch her first ever movie, Leigh-Ann told her followers she was “truly proud” to be a part of the upcoming film.

Sharing the movie poster and trailer with her 7.7 million followers on Wednesday, the mum-to-twins wrote: “The Official trailer for Boxing Day is finally out.”

“I am truly honoured to have been able to be apart of this film but also truly proud, to witness the arrival of a film that celebrates black culture, black talent and black love.”

The talented star added: “@amlameenbaby wrote this film not conforming to what society associates with black culture. We don’t always have to dominate films associated with crime and violence.

The spotlight really shines on us all so differently in this film and I can’t wait for you guys to witness it.”

The star then went on to confirm that Boxing Day arrives in cinemas on December 3 2021.

“We love to seeeee itttttt,” supportive bandmate Jade Thirlwall wrote underneath her pal’s latest social media update.

Fellow Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, who also recently gave birth, was also proud of her bandmate, writing: “So excited.”

Boxing Day star and writer also added to his co-star’s positive sentiments and praised her for her eloquent caption.

“Beautiful articulated. And I can’t wait for everyone to see our film, and your wonderful acting debut ‼️ so fire,” the debut filmmaker commented.

Leigh-Anne also shared the news of her professional acting debut on Little Mix’s Twitter account.

Sharing the trailer on the trio’s joint account, the 30-year-old urged fans to get behind her new venture.
