Kumuyi Responds To Those Who Claim He Is Lowering His Church’s Standard (Video)


The General Overseer of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Williams Kumuyi, has responded to those who claim he is lowering the holiness standard of his church.

Recall that a former Deeper Life pastor, Gideon Akande called out the General Overseer for inviting ‘Philistines’ to a program of the church tagged ‘Impact.’

Akande claimed that individuals such as gospel singer, Dunsin Oyekan, former Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria, Ibukun Awosika and co-founder of Andela, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji who were invited as special guests to the program were Philistines.

Responding to this, Kumuyi said that the criticism of his invitations were coming from an undeveloped mind.

He maintained that he invited those who are experts in their field and would be able to connect to the youngsters who were invited for the program.

In other news, the Nigerian Army has arrested a Lance Corporal reportedly involved in an assault on two traffic wardens in Oyo State.

Naija News recalls that the Lance Corporal and some of his colleagues were seen in a viral video  assaulting the traffic wardens at Adeoye Road by Ring Road, Ibadan in Oyo state on Friday, January 7.

The Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, in a statement released stated that the army is working with the state police command to fish out and arrest others who participated in the assault. Read more.
