Hailey Bieber Wore a Backless Silk Gown and Feathered Cape at the 2022 Met Gala—See Pics

Last year, Bieber opened up about attending the Met Gala to guest host Yvonne Orji on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she shared her “cursed” history with the high-profile event. Bieber first attended the Met Gala in 2015 under the theme “China: Through the Looking Glass” when she was just 18. “The first time I ever went to the Met, the morning after, I twisted my ankle and broke my foot,” she said. “It was a whole thing!” 

A year later, Bieber attended the Met Gala in 2016 and suffered an eerily similar injury. “The year after, 365 days to the day, because it was midnight of the Met Gala, I broke the same foot,” she said. “But, the bone next to the one I broke the year before. I had this whole thing in my head where I was like, the night of the Met Gala or the 24 hours within the Met Gala are cursed for me.”

Since then, Bieber has been safe from injury. “It happened the two times and it hasn’t happened since, knock on wood,” she told Orji. Here’s hoping Hailey Bieber comes out scot-free in 2022!
