Grace Davies’ fury over Instagram shutdown as she prepares to release single

Grace Davies was left fuming when Instagram went down yesterday, just days before she releases her new single.

The X Factor

star came runner-up on the 2017 series behind winners Rak-Su and she has been so excited to finally release her original track Roots, which she sang in her audition for the ITV show.

However, she was dealt a cruel blow on Monday night when Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp went down ahead of the release of Roots on October 8. It was just one more thing in a string of bad luck surrounding her music releases.

“Remember when I released my first single and we had a global pandemic,” she started on Twitter.

Sam Smith is also a big fan of Grace’s music

Grace might not have had the luck with music releases, but she does have a number of celebrity fans including Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.

Speaking to MTV, she said: “I was backstage waiting to go on after Ed had just performed and he stopped and introduced himself as he was walking past me which was super sweet.
