Gunmen Attack Obosi station house In Anambra, Kill a pair of Inspectors, Free Detainees

Gunmen Attack Obosi Police Station

Gunmen on weekday night attacked Obosi station house in Idemili North government space of Anambra State, killings 2 police Inspectors and releasing all detainees within the cell.

The attack happened barely twenty four hours when the new Commissioner of Police, Mr Christopher Adetokumbo Owolabi, assumed workplace.

A supply at the affected station house told journalists that the gunmen attacked the station late on weekday night, killing 2 Inspectors whereas all the detainees within the cell were freed before razing down the station house.

When contacted, the Anambra State Police promotion Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, confirmed the incident, adding that the commissioner has sent a team to the scene of the incident to unravel the circumstances behind the attack.
