El Cajon, Calif. (CNS) -Police searched for two suspects in El Cajon on Friday for street robbery and puncture wounds and sent the victims to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to Lieutenant Will Gerin of the Elkahon Police Station, there was a phone call at 3:54 pm on Friday at 451 Ballantine’s Street.

“It was a street robbery and involved two suspects,” Gerin said. “One of the suspects stabbed the victim in his arm. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.”

The male victim was not identified by police. Mr. Gerin said his injury was not considered serious or life-threatening.

The suspect was portrayed as an adult white male with blonde hair. One wore a white shirt and jeans with a black jacket. The other wore a gray shirt and black jeans and carried a backpack.

The victim had stolen the property, but details were withheld until the investigation was over, Gerin said.
